From a profound commitment to the environment and human health, emerged our project, El Majadal, a farm of free-range hens, with a natural, healthy and balanced diet.
Our corral can be found in Maello, a town of 700 inhabitants situated at 1.024 m of altitude in the province of Avila.
We have an estate of about 2.600 m2, where hens are free to peck at grass and roots. The henhouse, located in the center, is always accessible so that the hens may complete their diet with grains, access the nesting boxes and find refuge during the night.
The hens — Isa Brown race — are our principal and best partners, cooperating to bring forth a project that supports the environment, rural employment, the dignified work in and with the countryside and the care of our health, because they, and we, are what we eat. We take the best possible care of them in an optimum environment, respecting their natural cycles. After all, a happy, healthy hen is a very productive one.
