El Zorzal

At El Zorzal, we are three people embarking on a project of self-employment, making muffins and artisanal sweets from primary organic materials. We follow traditional recipes from our town, Malpartida de Corneja (Avila) that we bake in an old wood-burning oven. We want to make a living making delicious muffins and sweets while breathing new life into a family business and our town, enabling us to establish more direct and human relations with our consumers.

We make muffins from whole wheat organic flour from different providers, organic olive oil from Jacoliva (Caceres), organic eggs from the farms of El Majadal (Avila) and Pedaque (Segovia), organic, fair trade cane sugar (from Cuba) provided by Sodepaz, and lemons from Escosecha (Madrid).

We are looking for a close and direct relationship with the consumer, working with flexibility to ensure our weekly deliveries.
